We are now three months back and the building feels like home and that we never left.

Our programme continues to grow and the café is becoming popular, especially with Pauline's homemade soup and twice cooked chips!

Spring is just round the corner that always injects a lease of excitement after the cold winter months. We are always keen to listen to the community and adapt accordingly, therefore we would like to ask if you have any ideas or projects you would like to see introduced as Spring begins?

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering creates so many benefits such as sense of purpose, community connection, social interactions, fun, career opportunities, increase self confidence, personal growth and development etc. KCC currently has the following volunteer opportunities available:

Café Kitchen
Café Front of House
Reception
Group support, especially with KCC Lego Club and the soon returning KCC Clothes Swap

February Film Schedule

Blood Monitor Machine

A blood monitoring machine is currently located at the entrance of KCC for community usage.

Monitoring our health is extremely important, so come down and test out. In the past 2 weeks over 100 people have already used.

The health initiative, has been supplied by WISHH Community Partnership. KCC will be the machines home for the next 3 months before moving onto another Community Centre.

A big 'Thank You' to Asda Shipley, for donating refreshments and game prizes to our Afternoon Social group that runs every Wednesday between 11.30am - 2.30pm

Introduction to some new groups at KCC

Food Bank Donation Point

KCC are now able to receive food donations for Bradford Metropolitan Food Bank. Donations will be picked up on the first Wednesday of the Month.
